DHW Exchanger + 2 Heat Sources

DHW Exchanger + 2 Heat Sources

DHW Exchanger + 2 Heat Sources

(OP)
Hi everybody, this is my problem:

there is DHW (tube) exchanger supplied with 2 sources of hot water, the first one is from solar system and another one comes from gas fired condensing boiler.

there are also log files containing detailed info about registered temp from sensors along with the time and date, eg.

2010-15-01 8:00:00 48.0C [1] , 53.7C [2], 33.0C [3]
2010-15-01 8:00:05 48.0C [1] , 53.7C [2], 33.1C [3]
etc. etc.
So, i know for how long the DHW was supplied with how much "hot" water.
When i turn off the sources of hot water i can watch steadily decrasing temp value of temp inside DHW.

there are 3 temp sensors, 2 of them are measuring water temperature at the two inputs of DHW ([1][2]) and another one measuring water temp inside the DHW [3]. there aren't any corresponding temp sensors at the outs of DHW ( = i can't measure deltas T).

i've read lots of posts here but still i'm not sure if my work is doable. what i have to do is to calculate the ration between the energy delivered by solar system to the energy delivered by gas boiler to DHW. The DHW capacity fortunately is known. Hmmm ..

RE: DHW Exchanger + 2 Heat Sources

Can you provide a sketch of the system and explain what a DHW is?  Thanks.
