Does anyone know if testing is required on crimped hose connections to meet ASME 31.3 requirements.

RE: ASME 31.3 testing requirements

There is nothing that exempts hose connections or any other piping system from the established test requirements so I would assume that such testing is required.

Note that the jurisdiction may impose testing or other requirements on hose that are more severe than ASME B31.3.  For example, most jurisdictions in Canada require hose to comply with RMA IP-2 which requires burst and proof testing far in excess of that specified in ASME B31.3.
