NX6-Curve Chain

NX6-Curve Chain

NX6-Curve Chain

(OP)
Is there a easy way to pick chanied curves? It used to be soooo handy in NX2 - just by double clicking one curve after pick the chain option. Now I have to pick curve option first, then click a curve, then pick chain option, then pick the end curve while praying that beginning - ending sequence is correct. Duh!

RE: NX6-Curve Chain

Before you pick anything, change your selection intent to 'connected curves' or 'tangent curves', then 1 pick anywhere within your chain will get the entire chain. The trick is remembering to change your selection setting each time.

That seems only apply for "extrude". Doesn't have "connected curves" or "tangent curve" option when, say want to change the color or layer of the curves. Or am i wrong?

RE: NX6-Curve Chain

No you're right but chain selection is still available and my advice is to add the icon to your selection toolbar for the greatest ease of operation.

RE: NX6-Curve Chain

What do you do if you don't want the entire chain, but want to choose the ending curve?
