NX6-Measure distance

(OP)
Hi. In Measure Distance there is "Results Display ->Show Informatin Window" option. I'd like to keep that option on all the time to see XYZ distancd. Oddly that option went back off every time I closed the dialogue. Is there a setting for this switch? THX

RE: NX6-Measure distance

If you choose that option then press OK or Apply, it will be in effect next time you use measure distance. This is the so called dialog box memory and it was the biggest thing to get used to for me in the transition from NX2 to NX6.

While the dialog box memory is generally handy, it can also be a cause of frustration.

I used "middle button" - so used to it. Have to use "apply" to make that happen. THX

RE: NX6-Measure distance

The middle mouse button action has changed slightly (I'd say for the better). The middle mouse button (MMB) will advance you to the next required input (highlighted orange in the dialog box). When the minimum requirements are met either 'OK' or 'Apply' will turn green, the MMB will then be used for the green option. For most dialog boxes this setup works really well.
