CT's for MV PF correction capacitors' currents

CT's for MV PF correction capacitors' currents

I am planning a bank of 3.3 KV and 6.6 KV PF correction cap banks with donut CT's at the cap bus bars for current measurement.

Do I need any special rating/specs for these CT's measuring capacitive currents ?

RE: CT's for MV PF correction capacitors' currents

I don't think it is matters if the primary current will be capacitive-that means the voltage will lag the current-for a usual protection. May be for a directional one could be some influences. The current transformer accuracy depends only on the burden of the secondary. The same thing for current measurement purpose.
