MACRO's
MACRO's
(OP)
Anyone know a simple way or book to learn how to CREATE Solidwork 2007 "macro's"?
Here at work we are looking to see if we can create a macro's for at least saving "setup's" and such.
Thank you in advance

Would you like to expand on the "setup's" you speak of?

RE: MACRO's
When ever we start a new part, assy or drawing here at work, you would like to see the same always used toolbars already in the same place every time. Seem each time the guys here at work start a new job, we have to continuously reset on toolbar, move around pull-downs. Maybe I am asking too much, but I thought Solidworks remembered which toolbars you used with each part, assy or drawing (maybe I am wrong) once it was saved.
We were looking for a way to maybe have a macro pre-set our screens, again, maybe I am looking for too much from Solidworks.
I know with templates, you can save dimension size, font and other items. Can the toolbars we use ALWAYS be saved with THOSE templates? (maybe that is what might do the trick, not sure).
I hope this clarifies this a bit. I can always get great help at this site.
