Time History Analysis (ROBOT)

Time History Analysis (ROBOT)

Time History Analysis (ROBOT)

(OP)
Hi

I'm using the software ROBOT to make a time history analysis. When I put displacements on the supports the results are OK. My problem is when I change them to accelerations and change the time history analysis method from Newmark to Newmark with acceleration.

I am pretty sure that the results should be similar beacause the displacements that I use have a sine curve variation over time, and the acceleration is the second derivative of the displacement.

Thank you

André Lopes
