Help with a totem with touch screens.
Help with a totem with touch screens.
(OP)
Hi, THis is my first post.
I need some help with a touch screen totem in work. I am designing it and need a way in which the screens can be secured to the frame work and a way in which they can be locked in so they wont be stolen but also so they accessible if they break. I have included a PDF of what I have so far. The blue is the panels of 3mm aluminum and the frame is pink made of mild steel. The screens are in red. The aluminum is folded. If anyone has any ideas it will be a great help. Thanks.
Rob

Will they be sitting in a location where people can vandalize them/tamper for long periods of time or is it a more public location where a person wouldn't get more than a few minutes of private time to tamper?
Those southco locks that MadMango posted are probably sufficient and they come in all sorts of finishes so you can pick something that looks good.
Last year I helped a friend install some very expensive touch screens for an info kiosk in the local mall but they have security patrolling the mall so we really didn't need to do much more than prevent "easy access" and even with everything locking from the rear maintenance is still pretty straight forward.
Best of luck to you Rob. ;)
I've read the FM, and it still didn't work.
