Creating an envelope part

Creating an envelope part

Creating an envelope part

(OP)
As I see it, the only way to create an envelope part of something I already have is to: /Insert/envelope/from file.

I sometimes have to insert numerous envelope parts that are the same and it's not possible to insert x number of parts at one go. I have to keep going through the same loop.

The most intuitive way of creating an envelope part in an assembly would be to perhaps right click on the relevant part (or assembly), select 'create envelope part' and away you go! But I can't. It seems the only way is through the slow tedious route described above.

Am I missing something??

RE: Creating an envelope part

I guess the absence of any responses describing alternate methods of creating an envelope part confirms that there are in fact no other ways! - unless of course you know different.

Could this be a worthy entry for a new feature request? Or maybe I'm the only one who finds this irritating!

RE: Creating an envelope part

I don't know no other way of doing it so better assign a shortcut key to the command Insert > Envelope > From file. To set a keyboard shortcut, go to Tools > Customize and then Keyboard tab.
