Hello

Does EN 13445 pressure vessel code cover copper alloy fabrications? I see that PD5500 does, as does ASME. Hope someone can help....

Thanks

No, the standard covers only austenitic and ferritic steels. Part 5 covers ductile iron and part 6 aluminum alloys. But copper is not covered.

RE: EN 13445 - Copper

Hi

you should find something useful in:
EN 1653 Copper and copper alloys. Plate, sheet and circles for boilers, pressure vessels and hot water storage units

Regards
