Pro/E Neutral files

Can anyone help me figure out what "Pro/E neutral" files are for? I just downloaded some 3D part models from FAG Bearing's website, and they came as zip files with a bunch of .neu.1 files and a single text file, which reads

"Symbol";"Value";"Unit";
"DESIGN";"Angular contact ball bearings";"";
"REFERENCE";"3203-B-TVH";"";
"SELECTION";"3203-B-TVH";"";
"SUPPLIER";"Schaeffler KG";"";

I have no idea what they are or how to use them. Can anyone help?

Actually, I figured out that I could open them in Pro/E, but only as individual parts. There is one .neu file that I cannot open, and gives me the error "Could not construct feature geometry."
