RE: ORDINATE DIMS IN A DETAIL

I am not sure about ordinate dimensions but for a standard dimension you can turn on some work features from your model. Next create a dimension to it and RMB -> dim type -> Linear Symmetric. Now turn off the work feature.

Haven't dried it with ordinate but you may be able to create it manually this way if it doesn't work.

RE: ORDINATE DIMS IN A DETAIL

Just use the "ordinate set" command and it should work just fine.

Select your origin, your features, then r-click, continue.

Hope this helps.
