We have recently upgraded to NX6.0.4.3 from NX4.
I want to add a part view (view from a different file) onto my drawing but i cannot find that functionality. Where am i going wrong. Thanks in advance for any help.

OK, what we did was to include it in the general 'Add Base View...' function.

When adding a view to a Drawing, you use the 'Add Base View...' function and when the dialog comes up at the very top will be a list of all the parts currently open in your session and so if the view is from one of those files, you just select it and proceed as before.  But if the part file is not currently open, at the bottom of this section of the dialog there is a button labeled 'Open' which will allow you to open the desired file and once more you proceed from there as you did before.
