How to measure the enclosed volume in an assembly in NX6

Hi,
I am looking to meausure the clearance volume at the top of an engine cylinder - the space between the top of the piston and the flame face of the cylinder head.
I have modelled various components such as a piston crown, the flame face, valves and gasket as seperate components - is there a way to measure the enclosed volume once I have constructed an assembly?
I know I could model it all as one solid, subtract it from a solid "block" and determine the volume of the remaining solid, but with so many components this gets rather complex!

You later versions will occasionally do very cool thing with the replace face function that may also help to bridge small gaps.
In short you likely have to bite the bullet and create some geometry in order to arrive at the volume that you're apt to analyse.
