Unmated parts finder?

Unmated parts finder?

Unmated parts finder?

Just a thought - apart from selecting parts either directly or in the tree, is there an easy way of checking that all parts in an assembly are fully mated?

RE: Unmated parts finder?

Look for minus sign as prefix in the part name in feature manager tree. This signifies that part is not fully mated.

Thanks macduff. Obvious really - but then I often miss the obvious!

The only minor gripe might be that it shows parts that are not FULLY mated and that includes parts  that might be mated adequately with less than all mates applied i.e. cylindrical parts including fasteners where rotation is not an issue and does not need to be constrained. When I first looked at my tree to seek out the minus signs I was surprised there were so many. Thats when I realised why.
