Has anyone come across any good light pole foundation design programs (shareware)?  The other engineer in the office had an Excel speadsheet program that he got somewhere, but when he left the company the IT guy wiped his computer clean (nice, huh?).  If someone has a recommendation it will save me a lot of time sifting through the internet.  Thanks.

RE: Light pole foundation

What's wrong with just cranking it out by hand?  It's just a pole footing analysis.

The IBC has a simple formula.
Like Mike said - do it by hand. Don't blindly rely on a black box spread sheet!

I never rely on any program without checking its results before putting it to regular use. Doing it by hand is fine until you are handed multiple requests - each with different lengths, fixtures, EPA ratings, soil conditions, etc. In the past few years our firm has dropped from 4 engineers to 1. I need to work faster & smarter, not more hours. Anyway, thanks for everyone's input.
