Step Voltage Test

Step Voltage Test

(OP)
Hello All

I was taking a look of some reports about one test done with some instrument called EDA  this one apply two different voltage to the windings, one is the half of rated voltage  and the second is  the  rated  voltages and analize many parameters includding Capacitance and PI values, in some history cases I can see the PI Value for the rated voltage (Usually 6 KV ) is less than the PI of the obtained at the   half of rated voltaje  so the PI decreases when Voltage raise. Any  explanation about this ? wich other test could be done? power factor test could be good?

Thanks for the inputs

Carlos
