Standard 4 point bending test method of carbon steel pipes

Standard 4 point bending test method of carbon steel pipes

(OP)
Hello people, i have tried searching for information regarding this topic and i have not been able to find the information that i am looking for.

I am designing a testing jig/fixture to carry out four point bending test of a carbon steel pipe. The dimemsions are 12m long and 24 inch outer diameter with a thickness of 17.5 mm.

My question is, is there any standard testing method for four point bending of full size carbon steel pipes? The only standards regarding four point bend test that I have found is the ASTM 6272 (STANDARD TEST METHOD FOR THE FLEXURE PROPERTIES OF UNREINFORCED AND REINFORCED PLASTICS AND ELECTRICAL INSULATING MATERIALS BY FOUR POINT BENDING)

I dont think this standards is applicable becasue the test speciment listed in the standards are rectangular in shape. I have tried to change the 2nd moment of inertia of the formular to that of a circular pipe but i am not able to do so due to insufficent variables in the existing formular. I also do not think it is correct to do that too because the standard is not created with testing of circular specimen in mind.

Thank you in advance for any help avaliable. I have been searching for this information for the past 2 days!!!
