RE: varying flow

Wait till I polish the crystal ball and I'll get back to you.

RE: varying flow

The battery is losing power.
The wires have a small short circuit.
Someone is closing the supply valve.
The hose is clogged.

Artisi.  Never loan your crystal ball out to me.  I suppose I'll have to send it back to you some day.

RE: varying flow

I keep it for those special occasions like "my pump doesn't work - can you help" so not much chance of loaning it out as it is very often in use - however, will keep my eyes open for another.

RE: varying flow

viscose: You might have understood Artisi's and BigInch' replies. Your question is far too general. Nobody can really help you unless you provide some more information. What pump do you use? How are the suction and the discharge side conditions? Please, provide a sketch of the installation or a photo? What temperature does the water have?

RE: varying flow

I guess we can rule out a positive displacment pump then...

Did you know that 76.4% of all statistics are made up...

RE: varying flow

Although probably more certain, even that's still a "maybe".

RE: varying flow

Is that a definite maybe?

RE: varying flow

I've never said "maybe" without it being definite.

RE: varying flow

I have to admit that I have said "maybe" with some uncertainty.....

RE: varying flow

I'm not that indecisive.

RE: varying flow

Ok guys I think the OP has understood the message (or not....maybe....)

RE: varying flow

So maybe we will never know.
