How to get max result from each element of a specific group

How to get max result from each element of a specific group

How to get max result from each element of a specific group

(OP)
Hello, everyone

I am working on my dissertation on Sap2000 v14.0 advanced. I have a truss of a railway bridge and i have some questions.

1)When I am clicking in "show tables" how can i get only the maximum for example bending moment from each element?

2)How can i get the result from a specific group of elements only?

3)Is it easy to construct a train? The analysis will be static, but I have several different positions of the train and it will take alot of time to do it by hand.

Thanks in advance

RE: How to get max result from each element of a specific group

Hi peppast

1) After showing tables export it to access or excel and then filter the data.
2) Select the group before showing tables.
3) Define a general vehicle load and use an influence line.

Thanks for the fast reply.

1)The thing is that I need only the maximum bending moment from each member , neglecting in which part of the member it happens.I can do it from sap?

2)When i am selecting a group it coloured it in the "3-d view" but then in the "show tables" , the button "selection only" cant be marked.
