Medium Voltage Scada-Mate switch from S&C Electic

(OP)
Dear List,

Does anyone have experience with medium voltage Scada-Mate switch (made by S&C Electric) but using capacitors as burdens for its capacitive voltage transformers (voltage sensors)?

The standard configuration for Scada-Mate switch voltage sensors uses 33.2 ohms resistors as burdens, adding a voltage angle shift of +88 degrees (as shown in the S&C site) that has to be solved, I imagine, by the RTU or Controller somehow.

Using 6.5 microF capacitors as burdens eliminates this angle shift, but would like to know some working experience with this configuration (e.g. calibration, commissioning, burden capacitor specs and maintenance, etc...)

Thank you very much for your help,
Eduardo
