RE: eccentric cleats

RE,

I just noticed your new signature line.  I like it, sounds better than some of the other things I have been called as an expert, e.g. "a has-been drip under pressure" and "a guy from out of town with a briefcase".

RE: eccentric cleats

only a fool would call themselves an expert

Hokie,
The change signature line is due to having the week off work and found it a distraction from my task of updating all my spreadsheets to current design practices in the ASI.

An expert is a man who has made all the mistakes which can be made in a very narrow field

RE: eccentric cleats

My version of an expert:
The well qualified practicing engineer knows a lot of things about a lot of different topics.
In time some of them begin to know more about less.
Then they become an expert and know almost everything about almost nothing.

RE: eccentric cleats

RE: Could you post the title and author for the paper that you referred to above?  I'd like to get myself a copy.
