(OP)
Has anyone used dimxpert for plastic/molded parts? I am trying to use dimxpert, but I am having difficulties because of the draft angles. Any advise or tips would be great!

RE: DimXpert

my only advice is not to use the Dimxpert. As I hate these xpert features, they are just a waste of time. These features are for very basic applications. Oftenly do not work properly in bit complex parts.....

but others can have different views to me.

RE: DimXpert

I agree with Gurjjeet, however I'm also of the opinion that I don't yet know how to completely use this feature.

RE: DimXpert

I have tried a few times to use it in the past.  I like the idea of being able to have the computer calculate tolerance stack ups instead of generating a fairly large excel file.

I have not had much luck with any molded or casting type parts.  It seems to have a hard time with draft angles, cone shapes and anything that in a non-machined shape.  That being said I am by no means an expert, I will try to use it for an hour or so and give up.  I would love for my reseller to ofter a 1/2 day course on it though.
