PE and P/E

PE and P/E

PE and P/E

(OP)
Hello, everybody.
Can anyone help me understand what are the differences between PE and P/E? I cannot find any info on P/E. Is it the same thing as PE?
I am asking this because I have two identical car bumpers, one marked with PE (which I know very well) and the other with P/E and I would like to paint them.
Thanks.

RE: PE and P/E

Maybe P/E means it could be PE, PP or a mixture. Never heard of P/E.

I also in my 40 od years experience never heard of P/E

PE is quite difficult to paint, well at least paint so the paint stays attached.

I thought that virtually all modern car bumpers were rubber modified PP

RE: PE and P/E

Pat,

Modern bumper covers are made of TPO.

Thanks for the answers.
I will try to make some tests on the P/E bumper to see how it's getting along with the paint.
It's strange nobody heard about it. I checked again and it says <P/E> on it.
