Electrical One line drawings
Electrical One line drawings
(OP)
I am trying to read some electrical one line diagrams and have found some letters I'm not familiar with. It is a 480v MCC drawing. It will show the equipment ID and then followed by a /DAL-1, 2 or/DAL-1A, 1B or /ZAP-1 or /PBE-1, 2 or 3, or /HAL-1. What do these /letters mean?

They probably are specific to your job. HAL-1, for example, might mean that load is serving a particular area of a building or campus, or a particular machine, whose initials are HAL.
Somewhere there's a table that will describe those acronyms, but they're not anything standard.
Good on ya,
