CWI - AP1104 verses D1.1

(OP)
Does it make a difference in which area you get your CWI Certs?  My body of knowledge is excellent in D1.1 & API1104.

Any ideas or input - scheduling the test for May.

RE: CWI - AP1104 verses D1.1

I don't think it matters.  My CWI card does not specify D1.1 or API 1104. However you should be familiar with the code which applies to the assignment you are inspecting.

RE: CWI - AP1104 verses D1.1

Doesn't matter.  Nowadays, go with whichever code you feel the most comfortable navigating.  The API 1104 test used to be appreciably easier due to the size of the book, but they have increased the number of questions on that test accordingly to provide greater parity between the two.

RE: CWI - AP1104 verses D1.1

Some employers do care which test you took, but go for whatever you're most comfortable with and whatever you're going to do the most work in.
