NX UGS: Drafting Help pls.

I want to creat a 3D Assembly.

I only can get one view type: TFR-TRI.  (Top front right)

I try to use projected view to get other side views but it does not com tri and the view is not good.

How can I get other views, like buttom back left

RE: NX UGS: Drafting Help pls.

It's very hard to teach someone how to use a product like NX on a message board like Eng-Tips.  You will need to at least have taken, either formally or via self-paced material, some basic NX classes.  I would start with CAST or arrange training from Siemens or your local distributor.

Actualy thats the funy bid. I know how to use it.  The problem is i couldnt get the view to be orrientated in 3d or the oppisite view of (TFR-TRI) at Drafting.

It shouldnt be hard, I just want the view opisite to TFR-TRI?

Very little hint should solve my problem. pls

Sorry my first post, was not clear.

RE: NX UGS: Drafting Help pls.

If you have created a drawing and added a base view using TFR-TRI and then you want to add other orthographic views you can do so by adding another base view using top, bottom, back, front, left or right. Then you may be able to cast projected views from that one.

RE: NX UGS: Drafting Help pls.

OK, so you've got a view on your Drawing which you would like to rotate to some other orientation, correct?

Select the view of interest with your cursor, press MB3 (Mouse Button 3) and select the 'Edit...' option.  When the dialog comes up select the 'Orient View Tool' button in the Model View section of the dialog.  A small 3D window will come up and you can rotate that view to your desired orientation, using either your Spaceball (if you have one) or using the dynamic mouse gestures, and once you have something that you like, just hit the OK button.
