thread799-207818: Write permissions

According to this thread, this might be a reason why I get the error message saying I do not have write permission or sufficient storage.
How do you change the directory of Abaqus? I'm a newbie and I don't know how to do this.

RE: Changing the directory of Abaqus

I usually just double click on the CAE file and that sets the default working directory to the location of the file.  Or you can go to File>Set Work Directory.  I hope this helps.

RE: Changing the directory of Abaqus

Hi
Please click on File---Set working directory. This will allow you to change the working directory. The job files you submit will save into your new set directory.
