IDEAS Drafting - Hexagonal Circles

IDEAS Drafting - Hexagonal Circles

IDEAS Drafting - Hexagonal Circles

(OP)
I am creating a drawing that includes circles (holes etc). However, the circles are comming out on the screen as hexagons almost like the resolution isnt high enough or something. They are also printed like this as well.

See link for screen shot.

Can anyone suggest a solution to this?

I am using IDEAS 5 m3, on sun/solaris system. I am using a Sun Ultra 45 workstation.

Many thanks in advance for any advice.

RE: IDEAS Drafting - Hexagonal Circles

You need to set your hidden line processing to precise.

Select your view and click on view properties or just type in vs

Then select the second icon from the left

See pic

Then YOu will see a Bar that says either fine, mendium or coarse hidden you need to hold this down and go to precise.  Then update your view

RE: IDEAS Drafting - Hexagonal Circles

Sorry you can set this setting in your drafting.in and or drafting.mm

This is in your user directroy

RE: IDEAS Drafting - Hexagonal Circles

This is the line you need to find in your masterdrafting.in or masterdrafting.mm

hidden_line_processing_option=4

Your is probably set to 1-3

it needs to set to 4
