Looking For Miniature High Pressure Relief Valve

Looking For Miniature High Pressure Relief Valve

Looking For Miniature High Pressure Relief Valve

(OP)
I am trying to locate a high pressure relief valve that can withstand up to 1500-2000psi before breaking. It needs to be no longer than .470" in length and a dia. no greater than .425". Does anyone know of this valve???

RE: Looking For Miniature High Pressure Relief Valve

This might be possible, but not with any relief valve that uses a spring. I've never run across any that small for any pressure even remotely near those pressure specs.

You could try posting this specific question on the Safety Relief Valve engineering (PSV) forum.
Ciao,

RE: Looking For Miniature High Pressure Relief Valve

Circle-Seal make small relief valves.  They have been known to make specials.

RE: Looking For Miniature High Pressure Relief Valve

Take a look at CPV valves.

I ended up designing my own valve for my product and made them in house... I was just hoping for something off-the-shelf so to speak. Thanks for all your input everyone. Much appriciated.

RE: Looking For Miniature High Pressure Relief Valve

Have you looked at bursting discs as a solution? If you can accept a relief that does not shut down again this will fit all your parameters, including the commercial side.

See for instance www.fike.com
 or others.
