Simulation on pipe

Simulation on pipe

Trying to do a simulation on a swept pipe profile but I keep getting meshing failures.

I'm pretty new to simulation. Is there some rule of thumb in regards to simulation on pipe members or sweep members?

Thanks

that being said... try a smaller mesh size.

Thanks I'll repost there.

RE: Simulation on pipe

Try throwing in some split lines to help guide the mesh.  Sometimes a trivial change in mesh size creates a good mesh all you need to do is have a large enough change to affect 1 edge and the whole mesh will change.  I hope this helps.
