How do I learn the capacitance per length of IB if the manufactures don't supply it. I need to size AC test set kVA. Any rules of thumb out there?

RE: Iso Phase bus testing

Back to physics principles. You have two concentric cylinders of known diameters and length. Calculate the capacitance between the inner and outer using whatever dielectric is present - air or SF6 presumably.

http://www.phys.ufl.edu/~dorsey/phy6346-00/lectures/lect03.pdf
and http://www.davidpace.com/physics/em-topics/capacitance-cylinders.htm were easy enough to find on Google.
