topology modification with parameters (solidowrks + visual basic)

(OP)
Hello,

I am trying to modify a solidworks assembly through Visual Basic.

The process I follow consists on recording a macro in SW and then write it in Visual Basic, because I want to execute it pressing a command button in microsoft excel, but it appears some kind of error.

I am a beginner using Visual Basic, so i don't know why it happens. Do any of you know any other way to do it or any place where I can look for information?

Thank you

Can you put on more about your need. Some examples will be good to use.

You can not trust the macro recorder.  You need to know at least enough VB and API to see what is missing.

sisau ... What exactly are you trying to do with, or to, the assy. A macro which fulfills your need may already exist.
