Material for Deaerator Storage Drum

(OP)
Dear everyone,

With reference to datasheet for deaerator storage drum, SS 316L cladding is required for deaerator storage drum.

my deaerator storage drum's condition is as follows:
- Temp.: 115 degree C
- Press.: 0.7 bar
- controled pH: 8.5 ~ 9.5 @ 25 degree C
- Oxygen Control: 7 bbp

CS + 3.0 mm CA have been applied as per our experience same as above condition).

However, I don't have any reference for persuading to change the material.

would you recommended any kind of reference for material change from SS to CS? Or SS is suitable?

RE: Material for Deaerator Storage Drum

Why do you need to clad or even change the Da storage tank material? We have carbon steel DA storage tanks that have been in service for years with no problems. The DA storage tanks are in fossil power generation.

I have applied CS for dearator storage drum.
However, in ITB data sheet, SS cladding is required.

To persuade CLIENT, I try to find the reasonable reference for CS application but i have only experience.
