Run around coil schematic diagram

Run around coil schematic diagram

(OP)
I am looking for a typical closed loop run-around coil schematic diagram where multiple exhaust air coils are connected to various outside air coils through the common run-around loop. Apreciate if someone can provide information on how to sequence the control with a diagram, if possible.
Thanks

RE: Run around coil schematic diagram

You should design  this and figure out how it works.

RE: Run around coil schematic diagram

This is one I whipped up on CAD for a report a while back... It's a little more than just a runaround loop however - it combined service with the heating coil by tempering with steam prior to serving the AHU. Also no multiple coil service in this one, but controls would be similar.

Sequence is pretty simple - if you want to recover cooling, just run the pump and fully open the AHU coil valve and close the bypass any time OAT >80°F (adj). Keep pump off during OATs between 55°F (depending on AHU DAT desired) and 80°F. Below 55°F OAT, run the pump and modulate the AHU HR valve (and bypass inversely) to maintain coil disch. air temp. In a humidified building you also may need to think about an exhaust coil frost protection sequence that bypasses the AHU coil if the water entering the EAHU is below the dew point of the exh. air entering the EAHU coil.

RE: Run around coil schematic diagram

ASHRAE Systems and Equipment handbook has a basic schematic that you could modify.  Similar to ChasBean1's schematic.
