Where did CosmosWorks go?

Where did CosmosWorks go?

Where did CosmosWorks go?

(OP)
I haven't used CosmosWorks to run any FEA analysis for atleast a year (and even then we were still using SW2007).

Now in SW2010 I can't find it anywhere. Where did it go? I don't see any add-ins for it? Is it called something different?

Is CosmosWorks (or some other FEA analysis tool) still included in SW professional package?

I want to apologize in advance if I have just completely missed something over the past few years.

Thanks for the help.

Do I need to get a separate Serial Number to install/activate SW Simulation?
Or does it just use the same SN as when installing the base program.

Thanks.

RE: Where did CosmosWorks go?

I note you say the "professional package". Please note that in 2010 Simulation is only included in SolidWorks Premium, the only FEA that Professional comes with is SimulationExpress, which is a far more restricted product. Hope this helps.

Thanks for all of the info/clarification.

RE: Where did CosmosWorks go?

Check your Add-ins to load the app if you have the correct version of SWx.

I was using SimulationExpress for two months before I realized I had the full app if I checkmarked the Add-in.
