I have new question regarding Cp for roof in wind direction normal to ridge for 0 degree angle and for wind parallel to rige. (figure 6-6)
I have ratio h/L=0.87, values that are givien in the table are for h/L<0.5 or h/L>1. So Im in between and what now?

RE: ASCE 7-05 wind lads

interpolate

RE: ASCE 7-05 wind lads

(OP)
there is
case I where if h/L<=0.5 use 4 different Cp depending on horiz dist

case II if h/L>1 use 2 different Cp depending on Horiz dist.

how can you interpolate between these 2 cases? using Cp for 2 horiz. sections or 4 sections?

RE: ASCE 7-05 wind lads

0 to h/2 use -1.2**, -0.18
h/2 to h use -0.75, -0.18
h to 2h use -0.65, -0.18
> 2h use -0.60, -0.18
** Reduce based on area
