Blockfont on drawings
Blockfont on drawings
(OP)
My boss mentioned that he would like to look into using another font for the drawings other than blockfont.
They came from Ideas (before I worked here) and really like the "Ideas-simplex" font.
Are there disadvantages to using a font other than blockfont for drawings?

RE: Blockfont on drawings
Your note would look something like this:
CODE
<F> is the switch to change fonts, the number corresponds to the font number you wish to use (blockfont may not be #1 as in my example).

For exporting data to other systems however you may occasionally default to something less sophisticated and loose your original character aspect and spacing settings. Text that once fitted nicely within your title block can appear awry.
That if it is by any description a disadvantage is the only downside I've ever encountered in terms of arguing that the lowest common denominator may have to be observed at all times.
I prefer helios because it looks nice.
