when starting autocad i get this message.......All the possible directories for storing temporary files either do not exist or are read only  please correct this situation before running autocad again   Would anyone know whether my Preferences are incorrect or whether there is a problem with Windows /Hard disc  ??

RE: autocad lt won't commence

Seems like you are starting an acad.exe that is on a CD but you woud notice that. Next I can think of is maybe a system administrator did not allocate you the right to save a file on some directory or on the disk drive on which acad.exe is.
