I have an assembly that has parts referenced to the top face of a large plate. I want to add a series of hole patterns for mounting components at 45 degrees to the other components. These may need to be moved later on. What is the best way to achieve this ? A Plane at 45 degrees to the orginal 1 ?
I appreciate any tips on this. Solid Edge V18 user

RE: Solid Edge

Not sure exactly what you mean, but I would think just doing a sketch on the top plate and then the sketch lines or points drawn 45 degrees to the plate. If you have points then when you do your hole command you should be able to locate them off of the points.

RE: Solid Edge

A plane at 45° may just do the trick but I would probably draw a sketch to position the plane precisely and for an easier edit after.
