NX-6.0.4.3.mp03 verses NX-6.0.3.6.mp04

NX-6.0.4.3.mp03 verses NX-6.0.3.6.mp04

NX-6.0.4.3.mp03 verses NX-6.0.3.6.mp04

(OP)
I'm looking at the download site on ftp.UGS.com.

I currently have NX-6.0.4.3.mp03 installed (added to their website on 2010-01-15 11:21:24).

My question is concerning:

nx-6.0.3.6.mp04.zip NEW! 2010-02-25 09:52:08

It appears that the nx-6.0.3.6.mp04.zip has revisions and updates the version NX-6.0.4.3.mp03 does not.

Do I need to keep up to date with old release versions as well as the version I am on?

Just a little confused and too embarrassed to ask GTAC.

THANKS!

RE: NX-6.0.4.3.mp03 verses NX-6.0.3.6.mp04

You should only load MP's IF they specifically address problems which either you have personally reported or you're having problems similar to the reported ones which that particular MP was intended to fix.  If your issues are not covered or you don't have issues similar to the ones which are, then do NOT load that MP.  Wait for the next MR, which you should, as a normal course of business, install as they come out.  MP's are intended to solve specific issues and are NOT intended as a general distribution, unlike MR's which are.
