Autoclave Engineeers Medium pressure port

Autoclave Engineeers Medium pressure port

We are designing som test equipment which is going to be connected to a pressure system with Autoclave Engineers Medium pressure SFCX connectors. Connection type SF562CX20 for tube with outside dim of 9/16.

My question is how to manufacture the port correctly for this connector. What tolerances and surface finishes is required?

I have found the AE catalogues on the web, but they dont state othe than nominal dims and a weep hole without any information.

Anyone who knows how to do this?

AndersSande,

This sounds more like a fluid mechanics problem than one involving drafting standards.  This may not be the best forum for it.

Have you tried calling the manufacturer, the sales representative, or your local vendor?

Definitely contact Autoclave for the connection details.  They do have a rep for unresponsive customer service, but they should be willing to accommodate this request.

I have contacted both Autoclave and Snap-tite by mail about this, but the response so far is none. Or is phone the only way to contact them? ( To get a answer, I mean.....)

John,
Yes, I know this document, but it doesn't state any tolerance for angles, diameters, depths or surface finnishes.
So when we recieve a manufactured part from a sub supplier we hasn't any limits to check it against.
