DC Motor SCR rated higher than 180VDC ?
(OP)
Hello,
I'm looking for a DC Motor 1800RPM SCR rated, but higher than 180VDC.
I've been searching in the main companies websites Leeson, Baldor etc. but the highest voltage is 180VDC. For my application, I have 220V rectified, so I need SCR rated around 300VDC.
Anyone knows if SCR rated higher than 180VDC motors exist and if so, where could I find it.
Thank you!
David

There are SCRs that work very well off a 690 V grid and are rated 2500 V. Higher voltages are also available.

So I need a galvanic isolation of around 300V
Thanks

After a conversation with them, I found the following motor should fit for the application :
Leeson DC Motor
SCR Rated
1 HP
180VDC
230 Vac (input)
1800RPM
Initially I though the 230Vac was not enough, but it is apparently acceptable
Thanks for your time!
