How to greate drafting template

How to greate drafting template

How to greate drafting template

(OP)
I am somewhat new to Catia, but I would like so pointers on how to create a custom drafting template.
My company has templates for Pro/E and I would like to either duplicate them or reuse the existing Pro/E templates, if I can reuse them great, but if not could you tell me how to create a custom template.

Thanks

RE: How to greate drafting template

In Drafting

Insert - Drawing - Sheet - New Detail Sheet

Create drawing or copy paste from translated Pro/E files.

Save the .CATDrawing in a directory.
Save as .Catalog in the same directory

The catalog file needs to reference the .CATDrawing file.  Use the Catalog icon in drafting when you want to instance the 2D component in.

Regards,
Derek

Thanks for the response Derek, based on your suggestion, some reading and work on my own I've managed to figure it out.
