*.DBALL and *.MASTER error message

(OP)
Dear all,

I have copied*.Dball and *.Master from the other user on to my workstation. And I have used ASSIGN MASTER and DBALL in my DECK.

This had resulted the following error:

*** USER FATAL MESSAGE 1247 (BIOPNR)
UNABLE TO VALIDATE DATABASE FILE FORMAT.  DATABASE MAY NOT HAVE BEEN BUILT ON A COMPATIBLE PLATFORM.
     TIMESTAMP/RECL VALIDATION FAILED.  FILX =    3, LOGNAME = MASTER_A, NSBUF3 =    65536
     FILE IS /home/*.MASTER
     TIMESTAMP OFFSET INVALID.
*** SYSTEM FATAL MESSAGE 471 (DGETTS)
ERROR ATTEMPTING TO OPEN THE FOLLOWING PHYSICAL FILE NAME (PFILEX=  3) :
     /home/*.MASTER
USER ACTION: 1) CHECK THE READ/WRITE PRIVILEGES GRANTED THIS FILE.
                  2) CHECK MAXIMUM NUMBER OF FILES THAT MAY BE OPENED SIMULTANEOUSLY.
                  3) CHECK THAT THIS DATABASE FILE IS COMPATIBLE WITH THIS PLATFORM.
                  4) ENSURE THAT NO OTHER JOB HAS OPENED THE DATABASE FOR UPDATING.

Please suggest me how to proceed further.

Thanks!
