Hello Everybody!

I've some trouble with aircraft cleaning. IAW Boeing AMM we have to use cleaner alkaline MIL-PRF-87937, but could you please advise any optional commercially available  compound for MIL-PRF-87937?

I am listing some materials and suppliers that claim to meet the requirements of MIL-PRF-87937.  You can check the claims and acceptability with your client.

ALK-660 -- manufacturer claims it conforms to the MIL-PRF-87937 Type II spec.

Same manufacturer claims Astrosol Orange meets Type 1 of the spec and that Astrosol 37 meets Type III of the spec.

Zip Chem:  Calla 804 (Ty IV); Calla Solve 120 (TY 1, not authorized for final surface prep prior to paint or sealant;
Calla 800 (TY II)

Spray 9:  AV-8 (TY IV)
