(OP)
How do you add hatch patterns to list of available ones? Before I started working here a drawing border was setup that had about twice as many hatch patterns as my new drawing setup. If you call up an old drawing these patterns are still available for use, but if I call up a new drawing these patterns are gone. I went into tools/standards and only a handfull of hatch patterns are listed..the same ones listed in my new drawing setup. Where are the hatch patterns associated with the old drawings and how do I get them into the new drawing setup?

RE: hatch patterns

The old drawing will have the standards embedded.  I add cross hatch patterns to material located in a material catalog.  An applied part material will make the cross hatch patterns automatic at that point.  You can add patterns to the drafting standards if you have admin privileges.  I believe there is a section in FAQ on drafting standards.

Derek
