Metric anchor bolt diameters and strengths
Metric anchor bolt diameters and strengths
(OP)
I am doing some research on "hard" metric structural supplies based on the DIN standard. Does anyone know what the metric anchor bolt standards are for diameter and strength (yield and ultimate)? I am not looking for a US conversion but, common diameters using DIN standards.
Thanks,
Mike

RE: Metric anchor bolt diameters and strengths
However in Australia, diameters include 12mm, 16, 20, 24, 30, and 36mm. Grades are written in the form of X.Y where X is the strength in hundreds of megapascals and Y is the ratio between yield and ultimate strengths. Standard grades are 4.6 (similar to A307) and 8.8 (similar to A325). I can't prove it because I don't use them, but I believe that there is 10.9 and possible 12.9.
I'm not at the office so I can't offer a good reference.
