Strange rigid 2-D analytical rigid shell at post processing

Strange rigid 2-D analytical rigid shell at post processing

Hello,

I wondered if any knows why my 2-D analytical rigid shell becomes a tube after running the analysis and would this affect my results?

See picture attached

RE: Strange rigid 2-D analytical rigid shell at post processing

You might be just viewing your results extruded not sure why all of them are not extruded.

Try view>odb display options>sweep/extrude

If that's not it try changing the view to XY>turn off perspective view> and crank up the deformation scale factor. to see if it is actually not moving.

I hope this helps.

Your welcome.  Does this mean I need to come up with a pet name for you too?  I don't think we are there yet.
