GTAW will give comparatively poor results, as the zinc (and lead too) will boil out of the weld puddle.

What are you attempting to accomplish?
How does the joint have to perform?

Is this simply a free turning brass or does it have extra lead.
If it is just free turning brass, you can braze or silver solder it.
If you are going to try to tig weld, it use low fuming bronze, and be prepared to clean, a lot, of redeposited zinc and lead off the outside of the part.
